Eight years old and a new facelift! No not me, Lavender & Lace Antiques and Gifts will be celebrating eight years in business September 2015!
I wanted to give the shop a fresh look and thanks to our wonderful craftspeople she is taking shape. Inside we added some really cool perfectly chippy wood columns. (Salvaged and found in an old chicken coop!)The columns created a room within a room. I was so excited it came out exactly as I pictured.
Now we have started clearing out the old brush in the front outside garden. Busy painting trim and doors in a pretty lavender color, what else :). Our decks have been "decked out" repainted from the dark green color with a fresh coat of white paint. New canopy color, window boxes and custom shutters will also be added. Our vintage bike will be restored and pretty posies will be added to it's basket. Artist Cris Rushing is working on an awesome sign with a circa 1920's theme, thought that would be fun since we are known for our vintage swimsuits. The new sign will be added to the bottom portion of our original sign that is up now.
This is an exciting time for Lavender & Lace a new front roadway on Rt. 26 making easy access to our parking lot and a welcoming look for our wonderful customers who stop in throughout the year. We truly appreciate each and everyone of you.
Here's to a year filled with great new finds, happiness, beauty & celebrations!
